Helios
The Helios Tensed Division brings a small solar system into the room. Four felt discs, each 760 mm across, are staggered along a curtain of black steel cables stretched from floor to ceiling, marking out zones while light and views pass between them. Each disc is a double layer of 12 mm ARCHISONIC® Felt, a PET felt with 60% certified post-consumer recycled content, clamped to the cables and absorbing sound on both sides.
The system is 1800 mm wide and spans ceiling heights from 2400 to 3600 mm, with steel profiles and cables in RAL 9005 black. Tested to ISO 354 and ISO 20189 at 1800 x 3500 mm, Helios adds 4.7 m² equivalent absorption area at 1000 Hz.
In 45 colours, the felt holds fire reaction class B-s1,d0 in most colours under EN 13501-1 and is certified Cradle to Cradle, Declare and SCS Recycled Content. Helios gives lobbies, open offices and showrooms a sculptural focal point.
