BAUX Hexagon Wood Wool Tiles tessellate. Set edge to edge they form a continuous honeycomb; spaced apart they become a scattered cluster that can trail off across a wall or ceiling. Two sizes, 290 x 250 mm and 580 x 500 mm, both 25 mm thick, can be mixed in one composition, and with 40 standard colours the tiles double as a way to bring colour into a room in a controlled, geometric way.

The tiles are made from Swedish fir wood wool bound with cement and water. The material is FSC and PEFC certified, Red List Free, and documented with an EPD and Health Product Declaration. It carries fire reaction class B-s1, d0 and contributes to BREEAM and LEED credits.

Custom colours are available on request. The Hexagon tile suits offices, education, hospitality and public spaces that want sound absorption to be part of the visual identity of the room rather than hidden. Mount with glue, screws or magnets.
