In Your Room
In Your Room by Akuart is a modular room-in-room system that creates semi-open meeting, focus and lounge spaces inside an open office, without construction. Its acoustic modules absorb sound and limit speech transfer with a sandwich of two 20 mm PET felt absorbers around a 10 mm reboard sound-blocking plate, using polyester fibres that are 50% recycled from plastic bottles.
Pre-assembled acoustic, glass and open modules come in widths from 500 to 2000 mm, all 2200 mm high, and connect with posts and bars up to 4450 mm long. Choose one of six predefined series or a bespoke layout, and assemble it within hours using simple tools. The range comes in 24 colors.
The frame contains 75% upcycled aluminium scrap, and a design for disassembly with bolt-on components means rooms can be moved, reconfigured or recycled. Ideal for open-plan offices, coworking spaces and call centres.
