Plaid ceiling tiles

Plaid turns a suspended ceiling into a piece of architecture. Its felt tiles sit in a standard T-grid but drop into the room as raised, three-dimensional forms, drawing a tartan-like rhythm overhead in eight distinct designs. Made from Archisonic felt [PET felt, 100% polyester with 60% post-consumer recycled content], each tile absorbs sound and cuts reverberation where hard ceilings let noise build.

The 595 x 595 mm tiles come in 12 and 24 mm felt and reach up to NRC 1.00 in the deeper designs, so performance can be tuned tile by tile. A palette of 45 colours across 9 families keeps a ceiling quiet and tonal or turns it into a two-colour statement, and optional integrated LED lighting drops into the same grid.

Archisonic felt carries Cradle to Cradle certification, a UL Environmental Product Declaration and a Declare label, and contributes to LEED low-emitting credits. Rated fire class B-s1,d0 to EN 13501-1, Plaid suits offices, collaboration spaces, hospitality and education where the ceiling should work as hard as it looks.
