Supersonic Vertical Suspended Screen
The Supersonic Vertical Suspended Screen by Akuart is a wire-hung acoustic partition that absorbs sound and interrupts speech between workstations. Its 50 mm PET felt core uses polyester fibres, 50% from recycled plastic bottles. Tested at the Technical University of Denmark, it reaches an equivalent sound absorption area of 2.95 m² at 500 Hz and 3.55 m² at 1000 Hz.
Panels are 600 mm wide in heights from 450 to 2450 mm, hung on adjustable steel wires with 50 mm gaps. Both canvases, in 100% recycled polyester, lift off and are machine washable. Frames come in 24 powder-coated colors.
Its frame uses 75% upcycled post-consumer aluminium, and a design for disassembly lets every component be recycled. Core and canvas carry fire class B-s1,d0 to EN 13501-1, with an EPD to EN 15804, Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and Emission class M1. Ideal for open-plan offices, schools and restaurants.

Tested by third-party acoustic engineers in a sound engineering laboratory at the Technical University of Denmark.
• Cleaning: The Supersonic Vertical Suspended Screen is easy to clean. It can withstand daily dusting, vacuuming and wiping with a damp cloth using universal cleaning products.
• Washable: The canvas can be machine washed repeatedly.
• Frame: Powder coating in compliance with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 and
CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
• Acoustic material: EPD in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804. In compliance with the REACH
regulation EC 1907/2006. Reaction to fire classification B-s1,d0.
